Verses and Vibes Literary Lounge

On November 12th, 2021, I had the honor of being a part of a wonderful event.

At the Jazz Legacy Foundation's Annual Festival, Verses and Vibes Bookspace hosted a Literary Lounge for guests waiting for the main events in the evening.

It was amazing!

There were two panels of three authors each, and the conversations flowing from the questions really touched home. In a sense, the six of us all reached the same conclusion: We wouldn't have been there, selling our books, if it weren't for God. He is the one who made the whole event possible and gave each of us the purpose and messages we have through our writing.

I mean, yes, I sold some books. Yes, I promoted myself. But what I really got was validation for the walk I'm taking in life. And as an introvert, it was nice to meet new people.

I even got to help someone since it was their first time participating in an event like this. I'm glad I was able to help her feel welcomed.

God has been working in me lately. I may not be seeing the progress, but the end product is going to be amazing!
