WPP Author Fair

Let me tell you something.

If you look hard enough, you'll find some gold right where you stand. (I know. That sounds very cliché, but here me out.)

Last week, I had the opportunity to vendor at the Wider Perspectives Publishing Book Fair. Since they are my publisher, I had to come out and support, and it was great!

Not only did we get a small self-publishing lecture from the man in charge, we also got to hear from some of the authors he has worked with and a couple guests who have actually self published.

This was an opportunity to both showcase your work and to network.

If you don't have the skills or voice that someone is looking for, steer them towards someone you know who fits the criteria. I got to sell books, hand out business cards, and introduce people to other authors I know.

2022 has been pretty slow for me, but this event was exactly what I needed.

I don't know what doors it will open for me, but you'll never know unless you take the chance.
